Our Mother, Who Art In Heaven

He was walking down Ella Boulevard this morning
The back of his hoodie said, “Girls are Drugs.”
My first thought was, “Hah, that’s kinda funny.”
My second thought was, “What the fuck?”
I recently heard that your first thought is
Whatever you’ve been conditioned to believe
And the second is what is actually true for you.
Then, I drove to a religious service where every
Photo on the altar was of a man
And decided today, I dedicate my life
To the feminine aspects of All That Is
Because there are men wearing hoodies
Claiming “girls are drugs” in a time
Where pedophiles run the world
And schoolgirls are dying from American bombs
Our Mother, who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Blessed be this ancient rage
So may the Goddess rise within all
Until every girl knows, and believes and
Lives as if she is
And always has been
Worthy and divine
Amen
Amen
Amen
